SMALVIC – Vicentine Enamel Works and Shop
The vocation for the production of porcelain enamel is part of SMALVIC’s industrial DNA. In fact, the company was founded in 1958 as “Officine e Smalterie Vicentine” [NdT: “Vicentine Enamel Works & Shop”] and has never interrupted production of this particular coating, which is suitable for the most disparate uses, extremely long-lasting and has characteristics that make it unique with respect to many materials available for metal linings.
SMALVIC uses porcelain enamel for several lines of its built-in home appliances (ovens, cooker hoods and burner plates), as well as in outsourced production, positioning itself on the Italian market as one of the few productive realities capable of performing enamelling and guaranteeing the entire process (pickling, enamelling, exsiccation and firing) inside its own works.
The Veneto company is a proud guardian of this masterful and rigorously Made-in-Italy technique for the treatment of metals and proposes customers products realised just in time, with both the powder and wet procedures.
