The evolution of an Italian workshop
SMALVIC is a company located in Sarcedo, in the province of Vicenza - Italy, specialised in the manufacturing and marketing of free-standing ovens, cook tops and kitchens.
The company was established in 1958 as Officine e Smalterie Vicentine (Workshop and Enamel Factory) thanks to Eng. Enrico Dell’Orto; that evolution immediately marked the time and, besides the initial activity as enamel factory, another manufacturing reality was developed, the factory was in fact the first Italian company able to put built-in kitchen electric appliances on the market.
Over the following year, the vocation towards market flexibility affirmed itself and the company started to focus on the production of ovens and cook tops carrying its own Smalvic brand, also on behalf of the major Italian kitchen manufacturers.
Innovation will, ability to interpret market’s trends, strong attention towards product quality, those were the principles inspiring the founder and are still the values of the new entrepreneurial generation leading the company.

The company can proudly boast 50 years of activity which correspond to the history and evolution of Italian mass-consumption products: based on this heritage of values – which Smalvic contributed to create with its commitment – the company’s mission is getting more and more oriented to the consolidation of the production of "cooking tools" which are rigorously engineered, designed, and manufactured in Italy.
